Train derailment in Frazee - KDLM Photo
FRAZEE, Minn. (KFGO) – A train has derailed a couple of miles west of Frazee.
Becker County Sheriff Todd Glander says it happened shortly after 9 am Thursday and involved a BNSF train. Glander says there were no injuries.
A spokesperson for BSNF said the train was carrying consumer goods and that the derailment impacted a second train on a nearby track. Traffic on BNSF’s main lines is impacted as a result of the incident.
The Becker County Sheriff’s Office and the Frazee Fire Department were among the agencies responding. The derailment is under investigation.
