BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – Love may be in the air this Valentine’s Day, but in North Dakota, fewer people are getting married.
A study by Quote Wizard found that the marriage rate in North Dakota has dropped by 70% since 2009 but also found that North Dakota has the 8th lowest percentage of people who have gotten divorced.
The report also showed the national marriage rate is down 45%, and the national divorce rate is down 21%.
