MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO) – Fire heavily damaged an apartment building in Moorhead Sunday. Firefighters were called to 1205 12th Ave. N. at 12:02 p.m.
Crews arrived to find a large fire and smoke on the deck and south side of the building. The apartment where the fire started is heavily damaged. Fire crews say the other three apartments all have minor water damage. No one was hurt but residents were displaced.
The main fire was under control within minutes, but it took another hour to put out smaller fires and smoldering spots in the attic and other portions of the building.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
