Assistant prosecutor to run for Cass County State’s Attorney

FARGO (KFGO) – An assistant state’s attorney is running for Cass County State’s Attorney.

Ryan Younggren is the first to announce that he wants to succeed his long-time boss, state’s attorney Birch Burdick. Younggren is a graduate of the University of Denver Law School. He’s been an attorney in North Dakota since 2007.

Burdick announced in November that he will not seek re-election.
