BISMARCK, N.D. – The number of people who have died in November after contracting the coronavirus is a sharp contrast to the same month last year.
The North Dakota Department of Health said Monday 85 people have died so far in November as a result of COVID-19, compared to 500 people who succumbed to virus complications in November 2020. The number of active cases peaked on Nov. 13, 2020 when 10,432 people were positive for the coronavirus.
A total of 1,877 people have died of COVID-19 so far in North Dakota. Health officials confirmed 152 new coronavirus cases in North Dakota during testing Nov. 28, down 103 cases from the previous day.
