ST. PAUL, Minn. – All adults are now eligible for COVID booster shots, and the CDC is urging everyone age 50 and older to get one.
Minnesota health officials said this week they would move forward independently if the federal government did not. State Health Commissioner Jan Malcom says “we’ve been having lots of conversations about the need and the importance to expand booster eligibility to all adults 18 and up.” She says all Minnesotans who completed their primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least six months ago should have a booster.
Minnesota ranks second in the nation for doses administered.
