TOKYO (Reuters) – A senior official from Japan’s ruling Liberal Democratic Party on Wednesday called for the government to compile a record economic package in response to the impact of the coronavirus.
Its is desirable to have a package worth more than the previous record of 56.8 trillion yen ($510 billion) in total spending at the time of the “Lehman shock,” said LDP lawmaker Hiroshi Moriyama.
