CASSELTON, ND – The Central Cass Squirrels defeated the Harvey/Wells County Hornets 43-6 in the first round of the North Dakota 11B Football Playoffs Saturday afternoon.
The Squirrels were led by junior running back Owen Wiersma with 192 yards, 2 rushing touchdowns and 1 passing touchdown.
Harvey/Wells County finishes the season with a 7-3 record.
Central Cass advances to the quarterfinals and will travel to Hillsboro to take on the Hillsboro/Central Valley Burros on October 30th.
