ST. PAUL, Minn. – A 25-year-old son is accused of killing his father in St. Paul last week.
Royal Terrell Arrington Junior has been arrested on suspicion of murder. The victim’s sister says the two had been arguing recently. Forty-four-year-old Royal Terrell Arrington Senior was shot to death Friday. The son faces two counts of second-degree murder. He originally didn’t tell police he was involved, then he said he had returned to his home and was assaulted by his father.
He said he shot the victim, twice, in self-defense. He wasn’t able to explain the other six gunshot wounds his father had suffered.
