(Boulder, CO) — The University of Minnesota football team plays its first road game today (Saturday 11 am) at Colorado. The Gophers and Buffaloes both have 1-and-1 records. Colorado fell to sixth-ranked Texas A-M 10-7 last Saturday at Mile High Stadium in Denver.
Minnesota beat Miami of Ohio 31-26 at home. Colorado’s offense averages 226 yards on the ground and 95 yards through the air under freshman quarterback Brendon Lewis. The Buffs defense is only allowing 53-and-a-half yards per game.
Trey Potts made his first start for the Gophers against Miami and rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns.
