Open positions tough to fill as State Fair approaches

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. – With less than two weeks until the Minnesota State Fair organizers say they have yet to fill all the open positions.

Officials say approximately 400 open positions, mostly in ticketing, sanitation, and parking departments. The shortage also impacts vendors looking for short-term staff.

Some vendors are even considering raising their pay to attract more workers.
