WEST FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – A small plane crashed late Tuesday afternoon near the West Fargo airport. It was a single-engine, private aircraft.
West Fargo fire, police, FM Ambulance, the state patrol and Cass County deputies responded. The crash scene was west of the airport. The plane went down in a soybean field.
Fire Chief Dan Fuller says the first fire units were on scene within about six minutes of the call. He says the pilot was alone in the aircraft and appeared to have suffered severe leg injuries and possible internal injuries. He was taken to a Fargo hospital.
