Cass County Deputy arrested for DUI, was driving with children in the car

FARGO (KFGO) – A Cass County Deputy has been arrested for DUI after crashing a vehicle with children inside.

At Around 6:00 PM last night, the Fargo Police Department responded to a crash involving a Cass County Deputy. The crash occurred at Custom Express Car Wash in South Fargo. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Cass County Deputy Jacob Danielson. During the investigation they found his two children were in the vehicle during the crash and no injuries were reported.

Danielson was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of alcohol with a minor present.

Cass County Sheriff Jesse Jahner says an internal investigation within the Cass County Sheriff’s Office will take place and Danielson will be placed on administrative leave.
