(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild had a busy day as free agency opened in the NHL yesterday. The Wild signed multiple players, including defensemen Alex Goligoski and Dmitry Kulikov. Goligoski is a former Golden Gopher standout from Grand Rapids.
Minnesota is attempting to bolster its roster as it looks to take a step after reaching the playoffs this past season. The Wild also inked several players on two-way deals.
The rival Avalanche had a big day as they acquired goalie Darcy Kuemper from the Arizona Coyotes. Wild training camp will start in mid-September.
