Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is turning down the chance to become the NFL’s top paid quarterback. ESPN is reporting Rodgers declined a two-year extension that would have made him the highest-earning player in football.
The deal would have kept the QB in Green Bay for the next five seasons.
Rodgers said in April he doesn’t want to return to the Packers and was a no-show at the team’s voluntary O-T-A’s earlier this year.
Green Bay is scheduled to start Training Camp on July 28th.
