MINOT, N.D. – A Minot man is being held on suspicion of murder in the fatal shooting of a woman.
The Minot Police Department says it received a call just before 5 p.m. Sunday of a woman who had been shot in northwest Minot. The investigation led them to the suspect, a 41-year-old Minot man. Police say they spotted him in a vehicle, and he attempted to flee.
Eric Venn was arrested in northeast Minot after a chase. Police gave no details on a motive or on any relationship between the victim and Venn.
