FARGO (KFGO) – Cash bail of $1 million has been set for a Fargo man accused of killing his girlfriend and setting fire to his apartment where her body was found.
Cass County prosecutors asked for bail to be set at $2 million. Sheldon Davis, argued $2 million was too much and that “there’s too much that’s left out in this case.”
The 44-year-old Davis was charged Monday with murder, endangering by fire or explosion, and arson. 52-year-old Denise Marie Anderson died of traumatic injuries before the fire at Davis’ apartment Thursday.
Davis is in the Cass County Jail, where he has talked to KFGO News and maintained that he’s innocent.
