HENNING, MINN. (KFGO) – Otter Tail County authorities reported a brief tornado touchdown three miles south of Henning, near the airport, shortly before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The sheriff’s department reported the tornado came down in a field along County Highway 134. The only damage reported was rows of oats tossed on top of power lines and across a portion of the highway, and to a fence along the field.
The National Weather Service said the tornado tracked for approximately a quarter-mile across the field with peak winds estimated to be around 70 mph.
