GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – A woman is facing charges after fleeing police for striking an unoccupied Grand Forks Police squad car.
Officers were on an unrelated call at the Ambassador Motel shortly before 9 p.m. Thursday when the squad was hit. Police pursued the vehicle but terminated the chase because of high speed.
A short time later, the vehicle rolled on a county road. The driver, Codi Packineau, 35, of Buxton, North Dakota was transported to Altru Hospital with unknown injuries.
Charges are pending for DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, fleeing in a motor vehicle, and reckless driving.
