| David Januscheitis, 81, died Thursday, April 1, 2021, at his home in Bradyville, Tennessee.
David was born March 13, 1940 in Mandan, ND to Peter and Stella Januscheitis. He grew up and attended school in Fargo and Bismarck, graduating from St. Mary’s High School. In 1959, he married Vonnie Hanson. He married Katie Smith in 2010. He served in the National Guard from 1958-63. Throughout his life, he worked at Michelin and other businesses as a tire specialist for heavy machinery in California, Colorado, and Tennessee. He enjoyed playing darts, riding his Harley, and raising horses. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. He is survived by his wife, Katie; children, Scott (Julie) Sandland, Moorhead, MN; Julie (John) Thompson, Shoreview, MN; Cheri Sandland, New Braunfels, TX; Randy Sandland, Fargo; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Loretta; uncle, Bernard Januscheitis, Moorhead, MN; cousins, Michael, Paul, Mary, Elise, Melinda, and Susan. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, April 14 at 2pm, Holy Cross Cemetery, Fargo, ND. |
