MINTO, ND. – A 21-year-old man is in the hospital after driving into a tree this morning.
At 12:16 a.m. Zachary Fincher was heading northbound on Highway 81 near Minto, North Dakota when he lost control of his SUV while driving through curves in the roadway. The SUV ran off the roadway and struck head-on with a tree. Fincher was severely injured. He was brought by ambulance to Altru in Grand Forks.
The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP and there will be possible charges pending.
Fincher wasn’t wearing his seatbelt.
