MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Two men were arrested after fleeing a Minnesota state trooper in a brief, high-speed pursuit in Moorhead just after midnight Monday. The two left the car in the 3300 block of 34th St. S and fled on foot to a nearby residence. The car was stolen.
Moorhead police and the Clay County Sheriff’s Office tried unsuccessfully to get the two to exit the townhouse. Officers entered the residence and took the two into custody about an hour later.
Arrested were David McAfee, 25, of Moorhead, and Juan Medina, 28, of Dilworth. Both are facing a number of charges including felony possession of stolen property, reckless driving, speeding, and fleeing a law officer. Both also had a number of outstanding warrants.
Police also arrested Rachel England, 28, of Moorhead at the scene. She was wanted on outstanding warrants for assault with a dangerous weapon unrelated to the overnight incident.
