BISMARCK, ND. (KFGO) – North Dakota has reported a significant drop in covid-related hospitalizations, due mostly to finding and fixing a computer glitch.
The state Department of Health said Wednesday that the adjustment was made after officials resolved a problem with the flow of data in the last week from caseworkers to the state’s reporting system. The last time hospitalizations were that low was late August.
There are currently 1,177 active cases, with 57 new cases from Tues. There was one additional death, a man in his 40s from Ramsey County. The death raises total deaths to 1,387.
About 6,300 people across the state were tested in the latest round of testing, with 158 positive results.
