MOORHEAD, Minn – Augustana opened the season with a 74-69 win over Minnesota State University on Saturday afternoon from Nemzek Fieldhouse.
Matt Todd, Michael Schaefer and Tyler Riemersame combined to score 58 points for the Vikings, as Todd and Schaefer scored 20 points each.
Lorenzo McGhee was one of four Dragons in double figures with a team-high 14 points.
Augustana and MSUM close out the series on Sunday at 1 p.m. from Nemzek Fieldhouse.
