Western Illinois forced 22 North Dakota State turnovers and limited the Bison to 33.3% shooting from the floor in their 77-65 Summit League on Saturday.
Reneya Hopkins paced NDSU with 15 points and Abby Schulte added 11 points for the Bison.
Evan Zars scored a game-high 16 points and was one of four players who scored double figures for WIU.
NDSU (5-2 overall, 0-1 Summit League) closes out the weekend series with WIU (2-7 overall, 1-0 Summit League) at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
