CLAY COUNTY, MINN. (KFGO) – A brief pursuit and an arrest east of Moorhead early Thursday.
A Clay County deputy attempted to stop a swerving vehicle on County Road 26 but the driver refused to pull over and continued south on Highway 9. He then turned and headed east in the westbound lane of U.S. Highway 10.
The deputy then used a PIT maneuver tactic, causing the driver to lose control and stop. The vehicle was stopped near the Buffalo River Speedway.
Seferino Villarreal, 29, was arrested on charges of DWI, reckless driving, and fleeing in a motor vehicle.
