Bismarck, ND- The Bismarck Demons downed the West Fargo Packers in a 3A quarter final matchup 21-20 on Friday afternoon from the Community Bowl.
The game would come down to the Packers last possession when Carter Birrenkott scored a 74 yard touchdown reception to bring them within one. The PAT attempt would be blocked by Jack Steckler and the Bismarck recovered the ensuing onside for the Demons.
Bismarck finished with 341 yards of total offense and 236 on the ground. Lucas Miller was the star player of the game, he went for 155 yards on 24 carries and two touchdowns.
For the Packers they would end with 199 yards of total offense and only 27 rush yards. West Fargo finishes 5-3 overall and Bismarck High will travel to West Fargo in the semifinals for a date with the West Fargo Sheyenne Mustangs on Friday, November 13.

1st Half-
BISMARCK 7, WEST FARGO 0: Jack Steckler would open the scoring with a 9 yard TD run early in the first quarter. The PAT is good.
BISMARCK 7, WEST FARGO 7: Parker Nelson for the Packers ties the game with a 5 yard TD run. The PAT is good.
BISMARCK 14, WEST FARGO 7: Lucas Miller retakes the lead for the Demons with a 36 yard TD run late in the second quarter. The PAT is good.
2nd Half-
BISMARCK 21, WEST FARGO 7: Lucas Miller again with his second TD of the game this time from 17 yards out to open the third quarter. The PAT is Good.
BISMARCK 21, WEST FARGO 14: With 6:59 to go in the game Carter Birrenkott with a great catch from 10 yards out for the TD. The PAT is good.
BISMARCK 21, WEST FARGO 20: Late in the fourth quarter Carter Birrenkott with his 2nd receiving TD this one from 74 yards out. The PAT would be blocked by the Demons Jack Steckler.
