Did you know there was a Picasso display at the Plains Art Museum recently? The display included Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Pierre-August Renoir and more. Interestingly it was scheduled to be in Russia but COVID-10 changed that. It wasn’t just once piece, but an entire gallery.
Thanks to my daughters wonderful French teacher (and KFGO Morning Crew listener) my daughter informed us of the display and as part of her birthday we took in the opportunity.
Honestly it was kinda cool. I have no idea how rare this opportunity is or was? Have they been here before? Will they return? No clue. Not at all. What I can say is it was right here in Fargo. It was free…seriously….and I’m glad I went.
I won’t ever be try to say I understand and fully appreciate art. But I can say I’ve seen a true, real Picasso and thanks to the Plains Art Museum.
