It Takes Two with Amy Iler and JJ Gordon welcome 73 year Keith Shoon. You have probably heard about Keith, a gentleman who repairs, rebuilds and gifts bicycles to children in our community. His story goes back over 6 decades to digging in the Fergus Falls landfill with his siblings to piece together a bike to share.
Keith operates his bicycle shop out of his garage, which caused some dismay with the City of West Fargo years ago. Luckily, the community rallied around Keith and his cause. Everything was handled and almost 10 years later Keith is still in the bike repair businesses.
Someone even started a Facebook fan page
to pay homage to Keith. He doesn’t know who started it, but he sure appreciates the encouragement.
Unrelated to the audio above, this is the type of person we should be naming streets, bike paths or recreation centers after. A few more folks like Keith in the world would make it a better place.
