See It, Stream It or Skip It – Mr. Rogers, TV Land’s Younger & Uncle Drew | The Mighty 790 KFGO

Amy Iler and JJ Gordon tell you what to See, Stream or Skip every Friday and this week, the IT2 Crew, give you the info on the Won’t You Be My Neighbor? a documentary about Mr. Rogers, the TV Land series Younger and an unfortunately forgettable movie starring NBA All-Stars called Uncle Drew.

SEE IT – WON’T YOU BE MY NEIGHBOR

This is a simple recommendation. This movie features a man who made a lasting impression on MILLIONS of men, women and children. Fred Rogers’ story is told through interviews, clips and moments from his iconic show “Mr. Rogers Neighborhood.” A lot of critics have commented that this is the type of movie we need right now. I completely agree. Now playing at the Fargo Theater.

STREAM IT – YOUNGER

TV Land gets huge win on this original series. The beginning of this series is a cute setup – a woman in her 40s is mistaken for a 26-ish year old and she doesn’t bother to correct them. A chance to relive her youth and a great commentary on the “you are only as old as you feel” idiom. The show stars Sutton Foster, a Broadway veteran, who brings equal parts funny and relatable.

SKIP IT – UNCLE DREW

Wait until it hits home video. This movie features NBA All-Stars in old man makeup playing in a game of street ball. Fun enough in concept and not the worst movie to hit cinemas lately – but definitely not a winner for everyone.
