Spending an even looking across the prairie watching the sun set in the West is something that Barbie Latza Nadeau looks forward to when she vacations in her home state of South Dakota. As a journalist based in Rome, Italy you would think she has seen better sunsets in Europe or Africa, but it turns out that there is real science behind the beauty of the sunset in our neck of the woods.
