IN THIS EPISODE:
A Labor Day edition of “The Mechanic Is In,” Bruce talks about spiffing up those tow-able toys. Checking the lights and electrical connections, the tires should be properly inflated. Most folks only use the boat trailer a few times a year and then stash it away. Taking the 10 minutes to make sure the trailer is in proper working order can save a headache (or a life) down the road!
Callers get some questions in about electrical components in their vehicles and Bruce explains the difference between the electrical work found in a car made in 1992 versus 2015.
A caller asked about a trunk that won’t stay open! It’s new enough that it is not spring based tension, but a small tube with a gas system instead. Bruce says not to worry, those can be swapped out easily and for relatively little cost. The caller is happy because she was sick of getting bonked in the head.
All of this and so much more on the Labor Day edition of “The Mechanic Is In”
