Sally Jacobson from the Red River Zoo is buys busy busy. They have multiple events coming up (some just for adults and some for the whole family) plus she spills the beans on a brand new feline that will be added to the zoo in the coming months. Plus, she makes a great announcement about the zoo’s upcoming change in hours – they will be open everyday during the winter!

NIGHT OF THE LIVING ZOO
Friday, October 19th
Prepare to have a spooktacular good time at the Red River Zoo’s annual adults-only Halloween party, Night of the Living Zoo. (21+) A costume contest! Win fabulous Red River Zoo prizes! Special Zookeeper talks with some of their creepiest critters! A costume dance party on the Carousel patio with DJ Mason and his Skeleton Crew!
FASHION IN THE WILD: A NIGHT OF VINTAGE FASHION
Thursday, October 18th
Join the zoo for their first ever Fashion in the Wild event, a fashion fundraiser for the Red River Zoo. (21+) The Red River Zoo is excited to be partnering with
Revolver
and
Carmine & Hayworth Vintage Fashion Rentals
to bring you an evening of fashion, art, performances by
Zero Gravity Alternative Fitness
,food and drinks!. They are also having a great door prize and a silent auction.
ZOOCATION
October 19th and several other dates during the school year
School is out for the day! Drop off your student off at the zoo for a fun, exciting and educational day off. This informal and relaxed program will give students the day off they need, all while exploring activities about the animals here at the zoo. The programs last from 8:30 am-3:00 pm, but drop off and pick up may be at any time between 8:00 am-3:00 pm. This program is open for children in Grades K-5. Be sure to dress for the weather as we will explore the zoo grounds. An afternoon snack of popcorn and juice will be provided but children must bring their own lunch.
BOO AT THE ZOO
Saturday, October 20th
Boo at the Zoo tick or treat extravaganza 10 am to 5pm! Join the zoo for spooktacular Halloween fun! Enjoy trick-or-treating throughout the Zoo, creepy critter encounters, cockroach races, fall crafts and more. (While supplies last, they’ll have delicious
