Kallie Frost with the Salvation Army right here in Fargo, ND joins It Takes Two with Amy and JJ to talk about their annual fundraiser – the Red Kettle Campaign.
It’s not really the holidays until you recognize that familiar jingle of bells and see someone wishing you a bright and happy holiday outside your favorite store, sporting event or community gathering. These folks choose to spend time (with their families, neighbors, church family, co-workers, community groups, etc) ringing bells on behalf of the Salvation Army.

The tradition dates back over 100 years and has grown year after year to what is now one of the largest fundraisers in the area. This year, their goal is to have all 32 of their FM kettle locations covered with bell ringing volunteers from 10am to 8pm Monday through Saturday until the last chime on December 24th. That more than 12,000 volunteer hours!
