The Oscar nominations are in… here’s what you need to know!

The 91st Academy Awards nominations were announced this morning and Steve Futterman has all the details.

The
awards show takes place in Los Angeles at the Dolby Theater on February 24, 2019.

Here are some of the most talked about films of the year:

Roma & The Favourite lead the nominations with 10 each!

Roma, a black and white film, is a Netflix original about life in Mexico in the 1970’s:

The Favourite is a dark comedy set in 18th century England:

A Star Is Born & Vice are next, both coming in with 8 Oscar nominations.

A Star is Born is the 5th iteration of the musical romantic drama:

Vice biographical comedy-drama film about Former Vice President Dick Cheney:
