No. 4 Oakes travels to No. 3 Lisbon on Friday and both teams have stellar seniors in the backfield.
Garret Meehl is a dual-threat quarterback for Oakes. He’s passed for 444 yards and 4 touchdowns while adding 256 yards and 6 touchdowns on the ground.
It’s a tag-team duo for Lisbon with running back Jordan Sours and quarterback Hunter Schultz. The pair has combined for 1,190 yards from scrimmage and 18 touchdowns.
No. 1 Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich has won 30 straight games following their 48-16 win at Harvey/Wells County.
Seven teams are undefeated in 9-man and two will square off in Region 3.
Ray/Powers Lake travels to Surrey for a date with the Mustangs on Friday.
Kidder County remained No. 1 followed by Cavalier and LaMoure-Litchville/Marion.
