What do you do when over 50 inches of snow is sitting on the ground and there has been over 60 days straight of below freezing temps… have a community snowman building event, of course!
The Convention and Visitors Bureau decided to host a pop-up event at Island Park today (Tuesday, March 12, 2019) from Noon – 6pm, where everyone is invited to come and build a snowman!
Complimentary carrots & coal provided!
A perfect day, at almost 40 degrees (!!), to get out and enjoy the sun before the next storm rolls in…

Can’t make it out? Build a snowman at home and tag it with #ilovefargo or #islandofsnowmen. Let’s help this winter go out with a bang.

Battest, from the Fargo-Moorhead Convention & Visitors Bureau, joins IT2 in the KFGO Studio to talk about the event!)
