Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney says the city is breathing a little easier as it appears the crest on the Red River will be less than thought a week ago.
He says this is a “fantastic snow melt” and the flood threat doesn’t appear as bad as what the city was preparing for last week.
With this news, rural Cass County remains vigilant with the flood fight as the potential of well over 100 roads to be flooded remains.
In this podcast: Jason Benson, Cass County Engineer, joins IT2.
Benson says rural residents are able to buy sand and sandbags from the county.
