Stamp Out Hunger
Coming up Saturday, May 11, Stamp Out Hunger is the largest single-day food drive in the nation.
Now in its 27th year, Stamp Out Hunger has collected 1.67 billion pounds of food throughout the U.S. and each year collects between 50,000-70,000 pounds inside the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo area that directly benefits the Great Plains Food Bank, Emergency Food Pantry and Dorothy Day Food Pantry.
On Saturday, May 11, everyone is asked to leave non-perishable food donations by their mailboxes for their letter carriers to pick up.
Be sure to put your donations in a bag (any bag)… but preferably plastic if it’s raining.
