Grace Garden
This summer, the YWCA will be opening up 30 supportive housing units in the new “Grace Garden”, located next to Lutheran Church of the Cross in West Fargo. The church was a partner in the project.
The supported residence will be apartment-style homes for once-homeless individuals and families, many who are domestic violence survivors.
In this podcast: YWCA Executive Director Erin Prochnow joins Amy & JJ to talk about the project – and how you can “plant a seed” at Grace Garden.

(Apartment homes will range from one to four bedrooms. There will also be YWCA staff offices, a community room, exercise room, patio, garage and playground.)

Plant A Seed
The YWCA would like the help of the community to fully furnish the homes at Grace Garden.
This is an opportunity to transform empty spaces into warm, welcoming homes. When signing up to help, a shopping list will be provided. The items include things like sheets, shower curtains, plungers and basic kitchen essentials.

This is a great opportunity to get a group together, as the cost ranges from about $705 (one bedroom) to $1,350 (four bedroom).
