Attendees at the Red River Valley Fair have noticed a fun new attraction that is getting some serious attention on the Midway.
Gordon J. Jacobs, not to be confused with JJ Gordon, offers rides on his miniaturized train. Complete with a front engine, coal car and three passenger cars – up to 28 riders get to experience the fair from a new vantage point. The train even toots a tiny horn and has a functioning smoke stack. Six layers of automobile paint make it one of the sharpest looking attractions. Plenty of people are taking pictures of their kids…but a few just want pictures of Gordon’s grown-up toy.A veteran of the US Air Force, Gordon enjoys meeting all the great people from across the country as he goes from fair to fair, event to event and always makes time to taste test the cheese curds. According to his report – the folks at the RRVF have some of the best!
