On Monday morning, there was a commotion in the studio. Just outside the doors of the It Takes Two, a crew from ESPN arrived and setup their cameras, lights and captured a feud bred from a decades old football rivalry.
Zero, host of the Y94 Morning Playground joins It Takes Two with a recap of the day. First off, why did they come to Fargo, ND to film at the Midwest Radio building?
Because Packer fans at a station in Green Bay, WI edited a popular hip hop song by Lizzo so it would not include the phrase “Minnesota Vikings.” That was the first shot in a radio feud between Vikings fans in Fargo and Packers fans in Green Bay.
The Hatfields and The McCoys have nothing on feuding morning shows!
Listen to the podcast above to get all the enjoyment possible out of this preseason football fan fight.
The segment that ESPN taped will air before the September 15th Vikings/Packers game. Be sure to watch for the It Takes Two offices in the background!
