The Ronald McDonald House of the Red River Valley has some exciting news! With help from Essentia Health, a new family room has been opened at Essentia Health in the NICU. This home base at the hospital is a major upgrade when it comes to hospital waiting rooms.
A small kitchen, toys, comfy chairs and privacy are just some of the details that went into creating this special room to serve those families dealing with an unthinkable illness in their family. The Ronald McDonald House provides a place to sleep, regroup and be together – but a lot of individuals spend most of their days in the hospital. This family room is the answer to so many prayers.
There is one thing that the Ronald McDonald House needs as they open this new space in September – YOU! They are in need of volunteers to take small shifts so that the room can have a volunteer available. You would be acting as a support person for needs like cleaning or directions. A simple training is required through Essentia.
Those who are interested should contact the Ronald McDonald House today by calling (701) 232-3980.
