History was made 20 years ago when the employees of RDO decided to hold a build-your-own baked potato bar and offer the funds raised to charity. There is no doubt that those involved in planning the initial event could ever imagine that it would become the “must attend” event of every Fall.
Well, 20 years later and RDO has served up more potatoes in total than most ND city populations! They’ve also raised over $675,000 for non-profit organizations helping those in our communities. Being chosen as the recipient of the RDO Caters Taters event is an honor and, truly, a game changer for many groups.
This year PATH will be enjoying that honor. PATH stopped by the KFGO studios with our good friends from RDO to talk about the 20th annual spud-tactular event. Sonja talked about PATH and their goals in the community, while Kylie shared her personal experience as an individual who has seen major life change through her involvement in numerous PATH programs.
