Every day, but particularly on Veteran’s Day, we honor those men and women who made the choice to serve our country in the armed forces. Each has a different path that ended with them in a recruiter’s office choosing to enlist.

Shelly Fink grew up in Rutland, ND and is currently working as a recruiter for the North Dakota Air National Guard.
Shelly shares her story of growing up in a rura
l community and finding a place in the Air Guard. She also talks about her deployment and how being a part of something like the military has changed her life.
