New Rockford, ND is hoping that the addition of two brand new state-of-the-art golf simulators will keep golfers busy during the winter months.
Deb Belquist took time away from the digital greens to join It Takes Two with Amy and JJ to talk about the addition and all they can offer at the New Rockford Golf Course.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
1. You still bring your own clubs. There are range balls available, but you treat the simulators the exact same as you would the outdoor course. Gloves, balls, bag and clubs – you can leave the spiked shoes at home.
2. You have a LOT of course choices. You have the ability to play courses from all over the world – and more are being added. The weather is always the same inside the New Rockford Golf Course Clubhouse, but the simulator can whisk you away to ocean side courses, some of the world’s oldest courses or even a favorite from around the corner.
3. You make reservations. Thinking about taking a road trip to New Rockford with some buddies? Call or text ahead and make a reservation. Deb wants to know you are coming! Thinking about a birthday or bachelor/bachelorette party? They can hlep you make plans for almost any size group.
4. Nine holes takes roughly 1 hour. It goes a lot faster when you don’t have to search the rough for your ball or your friend has to run back a hole because he left his wedge in a sand trap.
5. Food and drink are available – so are the restrooms. Bring an appetite to eat before or after and enjoy a whole bar selection of beverages.
