FARGO (KFGO) – Fargo police and other North Dakota law enforcement agencies will be participating in a state-dot grant-funded high-visibility enforcement campaign through late next month. “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” will mean stepped-up enforcement through Sept. 26.
Police say as summer winds down and the Labor Day holiday approaches, drunk driving will be a top priority.
Last year, 43% of all fatality-crashes in North Dakota were tied to drinking with an alcohol-related death every 11 days.
