FARGO (KFGO) – The city commission will offer a new chance for people to speak during commission meetings, beginning Monday.
The agenda will feature a scheduled “resident comment” period. The city says it will give people a chance to make public comments outside of the traditional public hearing portion of the meetings.
Those wishing to speak on a particular issue will be given up to 2 1/2 minutes. Only one person will be allowed at the podium at a time and will be required to give their name and address.
The resident comment period will not exceed 30 minutes.
