FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – Authorities are investigating the cause of a house fire in north Fargo.
Fire Department spokesman Bob Cuchna says a passerby reported the fire shortly after 9 p.m Friday at 703 12th Street North. Light smoke was visible coming from the small, one-story house and flames could be seen in the kitchen area. Firefighters were able to get the fire out quickly and limited the damage.
Cuchna says the structure had been undergoing renovation and some windows were boarded up. He says it was believed the house was vacant but there is evidence someone may have been living there.
