CASS LAKE, Minn. (KVRR/KFGO) — The person found dead in rural Cass Lake, Minnesota yard is identified as a 17-year-old boy.
His death has been ruled a homicide by a gunshot wound. No arrests have been made.
Cass County, Minnesota Sheriff Bryan Welk says his agency was called Sunday morning around 8 in Pike Bay Township.
Assisting with the investigation is Leech Lake Tribal Police Department, Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and Minnesota State Patrol.
